General principles of personal data protection

The controller shall process personal data in accordance with the relevant legal regulations of the Slovak Republic and the legislation of the European Union and shall pay maximum attention to the privacy of the persons concerned and to the protection of their personal data provided to the controller and which the controller processes.


Reasons for processing personal data

The processing of obtained and provided personal data is part of our business activities. Without the provision of personal data and their subsequent processing, we would not be able to provide our clients and other data subjects with our services to the required extent.


Legal ground for the personal data processing

The current legislation allows the lawful processing of personal data either on the grounds of the law (i. e. without the consent of the data subject) or on the basis of the consent provided by the data subject.

The processing of personal data on the grounds of the law means that even without your consent, we may process your personal data for the purpose of performing our business activities. The basis for such processing of your personal data is the relevant legal regulations relating to our business activities (services).

Unless there is a legal reason to process personal data without your consent, we will proceed to process your personal data solely with your consent.


Disclosure of data to third parties

Your personal data processed by us may also be processed by third parties, provided that this is necessary for the fulfillment of our obligation to you, our clients or for the provision of our services. When selecting these partners, we always make sure that a high standard of protection of your personal data is guaranteed.

The personal data of the data subject may be processed in the countries of the European Union and countries which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The personal data transfer may only take place to third countries, legal regime of which is considered by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection.


Handling of personal data

The controller processes your personal data either manually or using electronic means. The controller has taken all necessary and inevitable measures not only of technical, but also of personnel and controlling nature, so that the level of protection of your personal data is maintained at its highest.


Rights of the data subject

The data subject is entitled to:

  • request the controller to provide access to the personal data concerning the data subject,
  • rectify or erase or restrict the processing of personal data,
  • object to the processing of personal data,
  • personal data portability,
  • lodge a complaint or a bring proceedings before the supervisory body being the Office for Personal Data Protection,
  • withdraw its consent on which the personal data processing is based.
